Installed the DotNetNuke Shopping Cart and like the functionality. Easy to use and adequate for a simple cart.

Here is a procedure for installing the store.

1. Download the latest version. For me that was DotNetNuke Store 02.01.28 Beta RC.

I had previously installed DotNetNuke Store 02.01.26 and had a number of problems. Spent all day trying to figure out when the line did not wrap.

2. Install the DotNetNuke Store.

Read the notes to make sure there is nothing special you need to do.

Whether you are installing for the first time or have installed a previously release, the procedure is the same. Go to the Host Settings, Module Definitions and install the new version of the DotNetNuke Store.

3. On your website, create three pages.

1. Store - for your storefront catalog
2. Store Account - for your customers shopping cart
3. Store Admin - to administer the store

4. Add the DotNetNuke modules to the Store pages.

1. Store Admin page add the Store Admin module.
2. Store Account page add the Store Account module.
3. Store page add the the Store Catalog module.

There is a Store Menu module which is useful if your store has multiple categories of products.

There is a Store Minicart which you are supposed to be able to use to display a small cart on other pages of your website.

5. Go to the Store Admin module and go through all the settings on the page.

6. Go to the Store page and open the settings for the Store Catalog module. You have to click the little down arrow next to the module title or the settings icon at the bottom to the far right of the Add New Product link. You can set some display values of the store there.

7. Read the documentation that you should have downloaded to see how to customize the store with templates.
